House Extension, Dorking

The brief was to replace the existing conservatory and utility/WC at the back with a new extension, to create an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and to extend the entrance porch to allow for more storage. The existing staircase is too steep and does not comply with building regulations . Therefore, we are proposing to replace with a new floating staircase, with a compliant tread and riser ratio. The site is located within Green Belt and inside an Area of Great Landscape Value and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Featured here are concept design images and planning drawings .
